Why would a woman have sex if it hurt?

For example, after episiotomies in childbirth, many women use a lubricant to ease the discomfort of sex, but why would she want to have sex in the first place when it is so painful? Is it more painful for her husband to wait than it is for her to have sex?

it hurts the 1st couple of times,but it shouldnt hurt EVERY time.
